Come enjoy a day on the Mosquito Lagoon with Capt Dave Brown!Let this lifetime area resident with more than 20 years of guide experience show you a day on the water that will be an experience of a lifetime.

 

Anglers will launch at Goodrich's Restaurant in Oak Hill where they can enjoy a hearty breakfast prior to boarding Capt. Dave's Hells Bay Guide Boat where you will experience Florida fishing at it's finest. Mosquito Lagoon flats fishing for trout and redfish is this US Coast Guard Licensed Captains' full time business. All charters are provided with top of the line spinning and fly gear. All you need to bring along is your favorite food and drink and you are all set to enjoy your day on the Mosquito Lagoon with Capt. Dave. No fishing license is required when you are fishing with a licensed guide. 

 

It is not uncommon to sight cast and catch many redfish from 3 to 50 pounds.  Larger redfish being caught from mid August through mid October. Limits of speckled trout are caught early spring through the summer using live pigfish as bait.

 

Just about an hour drive from Orlando, take either Hwy 50 or Hwy 46 east to Interstate 95 and head north to the Oak Hill/Scottsmoor exit. (#231) You will be headed east on a short spur road that will take you to US 1. Turn left, heading north on US 1 for approximately 8 miles to Oak Hill. At the flashing caution light (E. Halifax Ave.) turn right, heading east to the river and it's less than 2 miles to Goodrich's Restaurant.
