A family enterprise, Tropical Blossom Honey Co. in Edgewater was founded in 1940 by their parents, David K. and Helen McGinnis.  David kept bees in the orange groves, swamps and forests of Central Florida.  Helen packed the bee's honey in jars and they sold their hand-packed treasures up and down Florida's coasts.
