Captain Fred is one of the top most experienced Daytona fishing guides in the entire region. A florida native since the mid 80's Captain Fred has many years of international fishing experience reaching from the Bahamas to Indonesia including Cuba, Thailand, Madagascar, and many of the islands throughout the Indian Sea. Since 1985 he has been an active angler fishing daily in the waters surrounding New Smyrna Beach including the"World Famous Mosquito Lagoon", Indian River Banana River, Spruce Creek and Ponce Inlet.

In 2000 he became a professional fishing guide earning his living teaching others the techniques and secrets he has developed over the past 30 years. He is an amicable and patient guide who will work hard to make sure your day on the water is a success.

For the Novice Angler

If your a novice angler you'll quickly learn how to use light tackle and spinning gear like Shimano, Stradic, Substain and Stella. He will teach you what baits to use when to use them like Mullet, Pin Fish and Jumbo Shrimp to catch really big fish.

For the Expert Angler

If you're an accomplished angler Captain Fredwill share with you his knowledge and techniques he uses each and every day including how read and use the tides, moon phases and currents to locate and catch the fish you want. For the expert, our game fish should provide thrill and challenge that you are seeking. Captain Fred does not mind sharing many of his best tips that he has accumulated as a Daytona fishing guide.
