Atlantic Center for the Arts, nestled on 69 acres among palmetto and pine on pristine Turnbull Bay, has firmly established itself as an international artist-in-residence facility, bringing world-renowned artists to live and work in the community.

These artists delight in exploring our captivating town, and residents welcome the artists, not only for the economic boost they bring but for the opportunity to associate with them at many free performances, outreaches, and lectures associated with each residency.

The Center features a 200-seat amphitheater, Black Box Performance Theater, and Dance, Painting, Sculpture and Music Studios.

Atlantic Center is in construction of a 5,000 square foot Visitor Center & Gallery, to be completed in Spring 2005, which will house an art gallery featuring contemporary art, and a permanent collection of photographic portraits of former artists-in-residence by renowned photographer Jack Mitchell.
