World class marine education and research facility offering wildlife and nature torus as well as river of history tours and a wine & cheese sunset cruise. Enjoy the narrated tour of the Intracoastal Waterway, the most diverse estuary in North America.

The Discovery departs daily from New Smyrna Beach. Choose the tour that most interests you:

ECO TOUR
The eco tour offers you an up close experience with some of the estuary's most unique inhabitants while traveling aboard our pontoon boat. All seats have great views. The focus is on the estuary south into the remote backwaters of the Indian River Lagoon.

SUNSET ECO TOUR
The sunset echo tour offers a relaxed Discovery of the estuary's most unique inhabitants while traveling the Indian River lagoon aboard the comfortable pontoon boat. Sunset Echo Tours focus on the estuary north to Ponce Inlet and the Lighthouse.

Live music will add sparkel to the beautiful waters as myriad creatures come to rest for the evening. Wine & Cheese are complimentary.

KAYAK ECO TOURS
$30 Adult without kayak, $20 Adult with kayak, $20 Children 6-12

KAYAK RENTALS:

1 Hour $15 Single, $25 Tandem

2 Hours $25 Single, $40 Tandem

CASUAL RIVER CRUISES
Join Marine Discovery Center on a relaxing cruise on the Indian River Lagoon. Fun, music, camaraderie, all at an easy pace. All seats provide an excellent view of the water and New Smyrna Beach landmarks. The crew are trained naturalists and will answer all your questions about this amazing waterway.

Discovery Rates:
$25.00 per person, $22.00 for seniors, $60.00 family rate (2 adults, 2 children - additional children $10.00 each), $10.00 Children 4-12. Children under 4 - FREE. Special group rate available.
