Mosquito Mud Pottery
Our work is a collaborative effort in that we share ideas with one
another to create and better our work as a whole, not just steps in
the process of making pots. We are artists in the sense that we
constantly try to find solutions to actualize our ideas creatively
through art whether it is photography, painting, making paper,
silver-smithing, or beadwork and stone carving.
Pottery for us has become a way of life, we live cheaply and work
hard in hopes that we may make pots that will transform quietly the
quality of life of the people who use them. As Rick Malmgren, a
fellow potter said, 'Life as a potter is a way of expressing
gentleness towards those around me, and realizing a greater freedom
and potential in my life.'
We truly hope you enjoy our pots as much as we love making them.
